In
Casablanca you can visit the Hassan II mosque, the largest
mosque outside of Mecca. Opened in 1993 it employed over
6000 traditional Moroccan artisans in its creation. Over
25,000 worshippers can be accommodated within the mosque
and 80,000 people in the surrounding esplanade. Guided tours
of the mosque allow you to see the interior. |

Casablanca
is an inviting mix of the old and new. Visit the Ancienne
Medina the oldest part of the city and the Quartier Habous
(Nouvelle Medina) built by the French over 70 years ago.
A walking tour of the city allows the visitor to view its
spectacular architecture: carved friezes, intricate tile
work and ornate wrought iron balconies. Beautiful beaches
